₊ ⊹ laying on the bed was a girl, staring at the ceiling blankly, counting every crack, pointing out every single imperfection visible to the human eye. as much as her vision would let her anyways.
the room was dark, no source of light in sight. her curtains were closed shut, leaving her alone with the loud sounds of the wind, that wasn't enough to drown out her thoughts, though.
the girl had very visible dark circles under her eyes, her eyes that almost seemed like that of a corpse, no light in them, barely any emotion.
they say the eye is the window to one's soul, is that even true when the girl's eyes resembles an internally dark void?
her chest was moving up and down, an indication that the girl was breathing.

all inside her head, all inside her head. she reminded herself constantly, but even with the loud sounds of the wind outside, she could barely ignore the booming voices in her mind.
