Being on tour with boys has allowed me to gain a greater appreciation for what they do. The way that they tour the world whilst also recording an entire album amazes me.
Granted, that is not normal at all.
I can see it on their faces and in the way they behave just how draining it is. I mean, this is their third tour and they are simultaneously recording their fourth album, yet they've only been a band for a mere four years. Artists usually do the whole recording of an album over a period of time, release it and then tour it, taking a break after tour before they start another album again.
It's sad because I know that the boys are sort of being pushed to do it like this.
They say that they enjoy it, but sometimes I wonder if they just say that to convince themselves it's true.
I love these boys, each in different ways, and I wish I could just find a way to make all of this better for them.
We're in London now, sat in the studio at ten in the night. From what I've gathered, this is their first time recording in a studio for a few months. We got to London yesterday and the boys had the day completely free so they spent it sleeping. Literally the entire day, but I don't blame them because they needed it.
I'm laid on the couch with my head in Harry's lap and my feet in Zayn's. Harry has his hood up, hiding his curls in it. We're watching Liam and Niall in the booth recording verses for a song that I love so far. Something about the beat and just the way it sounds overall draws me in.
I feel my phone vibrate in the pocket of my jeans and I'm confused as to who would be messaging me right now. The six people I talk to on a daily basis are in this room, and everyone else I know is in a different time zone. I decide to take my phone out, sighing when I see it's Louis talking in our group chat.
Yes, I made up the name of this group chat because the boys love to tease me about being their biggest fan, having been there from literal day one. They aren't wrong, I am their biggest fan. But I got sick of it though, them teasing me I mean, and pointed out that they are clearly my fans with the way that they always obsess over my approval of things.
