Chapter 3

Emily POV

We arrived at McDonald's and we stayed in line for a bit until we had to order. We ordered our food and as I was about to pay for our food. Niall slid his card into the machine before me and I playfully glared at him.

"I was going to pay for the food" I told him as we stood the side to wait for our food

"I know but what kind of gentleman would I be if I let you pay" he said

"A nice one and let me pay" I told him and he chuckled

"Nope, that's not going to happen" he said as he got the food and I helped him as we walked to a table

"Okay fine can I give you money back since you paid for my food" I told him as we sat down and I grabbed my food

I got chicken nuggets and fries while Niall got a Big Mac and fries and we both got a drink.

"Nope you can't do that either" he said

"Fine" I told him and he chuckled

"I love cheat days" he said as he ate his Big Mac

"Do you get less cheat days?" I asked him

"Yes, because of my vocal cords. My team wants me to eat healthy" he said and I giggled

"I thought you like to eat healthy foods" I said

"I do but not every day. I mean I'm a 29 year old man. Give me junk food once in a while" he said and I giggled

"You're almost going to be in a grandpa age. How do you feel?" I asked him and he playfully glared at me to make me giggle

"Hey! 30, is not a grandpa age. I consider 50 a grandpa age and to answer your question I am excited to turn 30. I'm going to have a party with friends" he said

"Am I invited?" I jokingly asked

"Yeah, if you want" he said

"No, I'm just joking I want you to enjoy with your friends. Also, I'm not really good at parties" I told him

"Are you not a party person?" he asked me

"Nope, but sometimes Megan will drag me to parties with her. She's a party animal and I don't know how I'm friends with her" I told him and he chuckled

"How did you become friends with her?" Niall asked me and I ate one of my chicken nuggets

"I've been friends with her since high school. I didn't want to talk to anyone on my first day because like I said I'm a shy person. Megan sat next to me and she started talking to me and we got to know each other. After a few months or so we became like sisters" I told him

"Oh, that's how you guys became friends" he said and I nodded

"Yep" I said

"By the way I told my team about your idea" he said and I looked at him with a confused look

"What idea? I gave you so many ideas" I told him and he chuckled

"The TikTok idea" he said and my eyes lit up as I looked at him and he chuckled

"Did you tell them about how you need to post more on TikTok and not like one every 2 months or something" I told him

Niall has been active on TikTok but he hasn't been active that much. I told him to ask his team if he can post more TikTok and if he can interact with fans in there like he does on Twitter.

"Yeah I did. I'm going to have a meeting later for them to tell me if I could do it or not" he said

"I hope you can do the fans can thank me for that idea" I said sassily and in return Niall poked my side to make me giggle

I'm a ticklish person and I hope he doesn't know that I'm ticklish because I'll laugh till I pee my pants because that's how the person I am when you tickle me.

"Okay, miss sassy. They all don't need to thank you" he said

"Yes, they need to because it was my idea and they will thank me for giving you this idea and talking with your managers about it" I told him and he threw his head back and laughed

I can't believe I made him laugh and I get to hear his famous laugh in person and he has adorable laugh.

"Yeah, now I regret tell my managers about this because someone is becoming sassy" he said and I giggled

"I'm not becoming sassy" I told him with a giggle and he stole my fry

"Yes you are" he said

"Stop stealing my fries" I told him

"I get to steal your fries whenever I want" he said and I giggled

I tried to steal his fries and he will slap my hand away lightly.

"Excuse me you're not touching my fries" he said

"Yes I am" I giggled and I tried to get a fry but he grabbed the hand that was trying to grab the fries

"Now you can't get my fries" he said

I took the fries with my other hand and ate it before he could take it out of my hands.

"I got your fries. Haha" I told him and he chuckled

"Great, you stole my fries" he said and I giggled

We finished our food and we headed back to the van. We got to the van and Niall sat beside me again.

"Do you want to come to my house?" Niall asked me and I looked at him

"You want me to come to your house?" I asked him and he chuckled

"Yeah, we are great friends right. I really like my new friend to come to my house and spend time with me" he said

"Okay, I would love to come to your house" I told him and he smiled at me

"Okay" he said and he told his driver to take us to his house

I can't believe this is happening. I met Niall for the first time and I spent the afternoon with him and now I'm going to his place. What is happening to me? Since I finished school hours ago I should've stayed at home and be in my room all day but I'm right now hanging out with Niall. I still think this is a dream and it's not a real life thing.
