Chapter 4

Emily POV

We just arrived at Niall's house and let me tell you this house is massive. How can leave alone at this house? If I was this house alone. I will be scared.

"How do you stay here alone?" I asked Niall and he looked at me

"At first, I was kind of scared and put all the lights on but after a while I was okay with turning the lights off and sleeping" he said as we got out of the van

"If I stayed at this house alone. I would be scared for my life" I told him and he chuckled

We got into the house and Niall gave me a house tour. There's a huge hallway that leads to the kitchen. Next to the kitchen is the living room. It has a big couch and a flat screen tv. Beside the tv there is racks where Niall has pictures of his friends and family and including the 1D boys.

"Do you miss the 1D boys?" I asked Niall as he stood beside me

"Every day. They were like my brothers and still are my brothers. But, recently we got contact with each other" he said and my eyes lit up and he chuckled at my reaction

"Really? So, you guys talk now?" I asked him

"Yep and I'm guessing you're excited that we are talking again?" he asked

"Yes I am" I told him

"You know if we continue being friends maybe you can meet them" he said as we sat down on the couch

"Really?" I asked him

"Yep" he said and I smiled at him

He was about to say something else but his phone beeped.

"Who is it?" I asked him

"It's management. I need take this call. Are you okay to stay here until I come back?" he asked me and I nodded

"Yeah, go take your call. I have some homework to do anyways" I told him

"Okay, I'll be upstairs if you need me okay" he said

"Okay, now go before you get in trouble" I told him and he chuckled

"Okay I am going" he said as he put his hands up in surrender mood and I giggled at him and he went up the stairs

I grabbed my laptop from my bag and started working on some homework.

"I have a surprise for you" Niall said as he came down the stairs

I was still siting on the living room couch and working on my homework that's due on Monday and it's Friday. I always like to finish my homework on Friday so I can have fun time on the weekend.

"What is it?" I asked him as he sat beside me

"I can't tell you but you will know it by tomorrow. I have a question for you" he said and I pouted at him and he chuckled

"Why can't you tell me?" I asked him

"Because I can only tell you tomorrow" he said

"You're mean did you know that" I told him

"Hey! I'm not mean but I do have a question for you" he said

"Do you want to stay over tonight?" he asked

"Niall, you did so many things for me, buying me food, and bringing me here. I don't want to intrude on your privacy on staying here" I told him

"You're not intruding on my privacy. I wanted to pay you for the food and I wanted you to be here. You're not intruding my privacy love. I want you to be here" he said

"I know but I feel like I'm wasting your time or something. I feel like you had some plans today or somewhere else to be with your friends" I told him

"I don't have plans today love. All I wanted to do is hang out with you and maybe with Megan but it looks like she had other plans today. So, what do you say do you want to stay over?" he asked me

"I would love to but I don't have extra clothes to wear and where do I sleep?" I asked him

"I can give you my clothes if you want and you can sleep in the guest room" he said

"You really want me to sleep over don't you?" I asked him and he chuckled

"Because I'll be lonely in this big house" he said and I giggled

"Fine, I'll stay here with you" I told him and he cheered

"Do you need to tell your parents that you will stay over here?" he asked and I gulped when he mentioned my parents

My parents, they passed away a few years ago during a car accident. They have been the best parents ever but I don't know what kind of person would hit my families car.

"Hey Em, why are you crying?" Niall asked

I didn't know I was crying until a tear was streaming down my cheek and Niall wipe it away.

Niall POV

I mentioned her parents and she started tearing up. What happened to her parents? Now, I'm curious but I'm not going to pressure her to tell me. I don't know why when I first tweeted her something was telling me to DM her my number and get to know her better and become friends with her.

When I saw her today she was beautiful. I know I saw this girl for the first time today but she does look beautiful today. She is wearing a pair of jeans and a blue top. Also, she always has her hair in a ponytail like always. Whenever we are FaceTiming she always has a ponytail and I keep telling her to keep her out because she will look pretty but she won't listen to me.

"Why are you crying Em? The moment I mentioned your parents you started to cry. May I ask what happened to your parents?" I asked her and she calmed down a bit before she started talking to me

"If I tell you can you not tell anyone else" she said

"I promise I won't tell anyone else" I told her

"Pinky promise?" she asked as she held out her pinky and I chuckled

I wrapped my pinky around hers and smiled at her.

"My parents were going on a vacation for a romantic gateway while I stayed home. While they were going to there vacation and they are driving by the way. While they are driving a car came straight to them and hit them. My parents car turned over and the ambulance and police came to late and they passed away before the cops and ambulance came" she said and she ended up crying

Without saying anything to her I wrapped my arms around her and brought her into a hug and rubbed her back. I could feel her soaking my shirt but I don't care. She needs to let it out and I'm letting her cry it out right now.

"Sorry, I soaked your shirt" she chuckled as she pulled away

"It's okay, I'm always here if you need a shoulder to cry on or lean on." I told her as I wiped the tears away and she let me "You okay now?" I asked her

"Yeah. Thanks again" she said

"You're welcome. When did your parents passed away?" I asked her

"3 years ago" she said and I nodded

I need to let her think about her parents and think about something else.

"Are you done your homework?" I asked her as she had her laptop on her lap

"Yeah. Do you want to see it?" she asked excitedly and I smiled at her

I'm so glad I had to put a smile on her face because before she was sad.

"Yeah, I don't know any of these stuff means" I said and she chuckled

"Don't worry I will explain what these stuff are" she said

"You better because I don't want to be here and look at the screen and being dummy because I don't really know anything these things" I told her and she laughed

I'm glad that I made her laugh. I can't wait to give her surprise tomorrow.
