Chapter 5

Emily POV

"Emily, wake up. I need you to wake up. You are having a nightmare" I heard Niall say

Last night I decided to stay with Niall and sleep in the guest room. We watched a movie together last night and I guess I fell asleep and he carried me upstairs to the guest room. I looked at Niall to see he is shirtless and sitting on the bed. I can't believe I'm looking at Niall Horan being shirtless.

"May I ask you something?" I asked him

"Sure" he said

"What happened?" I asked him

"You were screaming in your sleep so that's when I woke up and decided to check up on you. Are you okay?" he asked

I had a dream about my parents and never had a dream about my parents expect after their passing and Megan was there for me. I think I'm having dreams about them because I was talking about them to Niall yesterday.

"I had a dream about my parents" I told him

"Do you want to talk about it?" he asked

"In this dream I was in the car crash with them and I died" I told him

"You're not dead Em. You are here with me and you're not getting away from me any time soon because I already claimed you" he said and I giggled

"When did you claim me?" I asked him

"Right now" he said

I giggled as he gave me a hug and he kissed me on the cheek. He never kissed me on the cheek and I felt my cheeks blushing right now.

"Can you sleep with me? I don't want to have another nightmare" I said shyly as we pulled away from the hug and he chuckled

It wasn't a bad chuckle. It was a good chuckle.

"Sure, move over" he said and I did

"Do you want water or anything?" he ask and I nodded "Okay, I'll be back" he said

He left the guest room and I just cuddled up underneath the blanket because I was so scared to have another nightmare again. So, I stayed awake until he came back. Niall came back with a water bottle in his hand. I sat up and he gave me the water bottle.

"Thank you" I told him as I took a sip of my water

"You're welcome. You okay now?" he asked as I handed him the water bottle and he put it on the nightstand

"Yeah" I told him as he laid beside me

"Let's cuddle and go to sleep" he said and I nodded

He wrapped his arms around me and I sighed in his arms and I felt him kiss my forehead.

"Go to sleep. I'll be right here" he said and I nodded

I felt him play with my hair and I went to sleep in his arms.

I woke up this morning with Niall's alarm. Who would put a alarm on a Saturday? Saturdays are the days I could sleep late but Niall put his alarm on.

"Turn it off" I mumbled and Niall chuckled and turned it off

"Are you awake?" he asked me

"Nope. I'm going back to sleep" I told him and he laughed

I opened my eyes to see I had my head on his chest.

"Sorry" I told him as I put my head up and I could feel my cheeks blushing a bit

Why am I always blushing around this guy? Is it because I like him or is it because there's still the fan girl in me? I can't like him. He looks at us just friends and that's it.

"It's okay. It looked like you were comfortable there. That's why I didn't move you. Are you okay? Did you sleep after?" he asked

"Yeah, I had a good sleep. Thanks for sleeping with me" I told him shyly and he chuckled

"You're welcome" he said

"Now can I go back to sleep?" I asked him and he laughed

"Nope. I have another meeting today and you have to come with me" he said and I looked at him confused

"Why do I have to come with you?" I asked him

"Because remember I told you I have a surprise for you today" he said and my eyes lit up

"Are you going to tell me?" I asked him

"Nope" he said and I pouted

"Why not?" I asked him

"You have to wait" he said and I groaned

"Fine, but if I need to come to the meeting with you. I need to go back home and change. I know I stink right now" I told him

"You don't stink. You smell amazing. If you want to go back home we can go after breakfast" he said

"Okay and speaking of breakfast I'm going to make you breakfast" I told him

"You don't need to make me breakfast. I can make you breakfast" he said

"Nope you're not because you brought me food yesterday and I want to return it to you by making you breakfast. So, what do you want to eat?" I asked him

"Em, you don't need to-" he said and I put hand over his mouth to make him shut up but he licked me hand to pull my hand away

"Hey. Did you just lick my hand?" I asked him

"Maybe" he said and I giggled

"So, what do you want for breakfast?" I asked him

"I'll have egg breakfast sandwich" he said

"Okay. Anything else?" I asked him

"And I would love some coffee but I will make it" he said

"Nope, you're not going to make it. You are going to take a shower and then have some breakfast okay" I told him and he chuckled

"Okay. Make some breakfast for yourself okay" he said with a smile on his face and I smiled at him

"I will. Now you have to take a shower mister" I told him and he chuckled as I got up from the bed and put my hair in a ponytail "I'm going to make you some breakfast but do you have an extra toothbrush?" I asked him and he got up from the bed and stretched a little

I can't help but look at him when he stretched because his abs stretched to when he was stretching. I could feel my cheeks blushing again and I can't make myself blush again while he is in the room. I tried to look away from looking at him but he saw me and smiled at him.

"Yeah, I do. Come with me" he said

We went to his room and went to his bathroom. He checked one of his drawers if he has a extra toothbrush and toothpaste and he does.

"Here you go" he said and handed it to me

"Thank you" I told him as I put the toothpaste on the brush

"You're welcome" he said and we both brushed our teeth together
