Chapter 11 ~ My neighbour

After school, Hoseok and Yoongi followed Jungkook home. They were all seated in his backyard, Yoongi had his phone out that was playing some music and thy were mindlessly singing to it, Hoseok running around with Jisoo as Yoongi was being pinned by sailor, Jungkook's German Sheperd while the Jungkook simply sat there and laughed at the boys antics.

They started by doing homework, but eventually they decided that it would be more fun to start having a mini party in his backyard. They tried to ask Namjoon to come, but Namjoon said that he had been asked by Jin to meet up and he decided to go for the fun of it. They wished him luck, and Jungkook's sister had stumbled out of the house yelling some garbled words which Jungkook translated to 'I want to play' and they were just simply having fun.

Taehyung watched all this from his window, he had to admit that they looked like they were having fun, but he was here alone, doing homework because he rejected Jimin's offer of going to the coffeeshop. He sighed, and turned away from the window, focusing back on his math project.

Jungkook found a rubber ball in one of the boxes strewn across the lawn and he threw it at Hoseok which started up a whole game of throwing the ball. Yoongi grabbed it and tried to throw it at Hoseok, but instead he threw it way too far and it sailed over the fence into Taehyung's backyard. The three boys looked at each other with wide eyes, and Yoongi cursed under his breath.

"Hey Hoseok? Is Taehyung cool? Like is he nice, fun to hang out with?" Jungkook asked Hoseok. The boy nodded slowly, thinking to himself.

"We used to be friends a long time ago, our parents are still friends. But after a while, he just got too caught up with Jimin and wouldn't hang out with me as much" Hoseok pouted slightly, and Yoongi chuckled at his cute face, "But he is quite nice. He never ditched me properly, and was always very caring. He was the one who told me that he was closer to Jimin and that he wouldn't hang out with me as much. Why are you asking?"

"I was wondering if I could ask him to join us? You know, when I go over to get the ball."

Hoseok nodded and Yoongi hummed his agreement. Jungkook walked to the back fence and opened the gate walking over to Taehyung's house.
