Giovanni's POV

Il mio fiore had a bad dream last night and hurt herself in her sleep. She refused to tell Matteo about it, but the biggest part is I failed I wasn't there to help her through it. She looked very tired this morning. She always looks tired like she didn't sleep, but it was worse this time.

Today was a long day, but I thought I was done, but just as I was about to leave my office for dinner I got a call.

"Hello," I answer.

"We have a location on one of his high in commands," one of my men tells me.

"Thank you. We will head his way after dinner," I say before cutting the call. Dinner in this house is very important and I will almost always be there.

"We're still good to go out for a bit tonight right?" Luca asks me. I had already agreed earlier this week and of course, Luca was double-checking. The other two should learn a thing or two.

"Yes, just be back by 11:30," I tell them. It is still a school night. This will work out Matteo can stay home with Charlie.

"I have to go back to school tonight. I have a big project tomorrow," Matteo says. There goes that plan.

"I thought you were gonna be home for a few more days. We have some stuff we have to get done too," I say telling him we have a location with my eyes. The eye conversation is a trait we all can do except our Bambina.

"Oh, In that case, I could probably do it from here," Matteo says. I didn't really want him to have to do that he needs his education, but I also don't want Charlie alone.

"Ha 16 anni, per l'amor di Dio, può restare qui da sola," Alessandro says. We all turn to her.

(She's 16 for God's sake she can stay here alone.)

"Tornerai alle 11:30 giuste?" I double-check with the younger three and they nod. It's only a few hours.

(You'll be back at 11:30 right?)

"Charlotte?" I say. She looks at me with her blue-green eyes.

"Will you be okay here alone for a few hours? The younger three will be home no later than 11:30, and if they aren't you'll call me," I ask her.

"Yes," she says. After dinner, we all leave.

"Okay, we are heading out. The younger ones should be home in two and a half hours. Call if you need anything and if they aren't back by-"

"By 11:30. I got it to go," she cuts me off. I leave and we head on our way to the location.

"You need to chill out it's not good for both of you," Vince says. He's always looking out for me which is nice, but also annoying.

"Whatever," I respond. I don't need him focusing on me right now. We arrive at an old building. We walk right in because this stupid man has no protection. I mean did he really think this building would throw us off and protect him? Unfortunately, this man made a lot of noise which got the police called so now we have to take him back to our house.

"Is this really the best option?" Nico asks. I know it may be stupid to take him to the one place where the person who has no idea about this is, but it's our only choice. She should be all the way upstairs too and won't hear us and we will go in the back way.

"We have no other choice," I say. Nico puts a blindfold on the guy as we pull into our neighborhood.

"Here we go," Vince says parking the car. We take the man and quietly go to the side of the house. I press the rock by the house and the ground opens to reveal a staircase. We walk down and enter the basement. We then walk into the room with the cells and place him in one and tie him to the chair.
