Chapter 40

Giovanni's POV

I get back to the hospital and enter Charlie's room and find it empty. I run to the only place she would be the food court and find it empty. I ran to the front desk and told them to shut down the hospital. After searching every square inch we realize she is no longer here. I rush home to all my brothers and tell them the news. Luca immediately starts hacking traffic lights and anything we can to track here, but she left her phone at the hospital. After an hour we get a call from Logan.

"Logan?" I ask when I answer.

"Hey, I got a text from Charlie," he tells me. 

"Send it over, " I say and hang up. I call back realizing I need his help because I don't know Greek.

"You figured out you need me to translate huh," he says proudly. 

"Yes, I need help," I hate to admit and I know he loves it. 

"It says she's captured by the Russians, who poisoned her, and is in a cell with Elliot who they also captured." Fuck. 

"Come over now with your brothers," I say hanging up. I call Gabriel and tell him everything. Everyone is at the house in less than 15 minutes. We keep finding dead ends. I have sent out five groups of guards thinking we finally found the right location, but all are to no avail. 

Luca and a few others have been hacking every goddam camera in this town and trying to find anything on either of them we can use to track them. The only time we have moved from our spots is to go to the bathroom. We have sat in the living room for the last five days. I have been on call after call, but no one has been any sort of help whatsoever. I hang up my phone after a call with another incapable person. I walk upstairs to my office and pour myself a glass of whiskey taking it in one sip.

"Slow down," Vinny says. I ignore him going to the gym and punching the shit out of the bag before Vinny stops me.

"That won't bring her back, you can't let the anger get to you we will find her, and soon." I take a breath and go back to the living room. A few minutes after I sit down I get a text from a guard of mine.

Hi, It's Theo I'm with your sister. She's safe, but hurry I'll send the location.

Vinny was right. I clear my throat before sharing the news, "One of our guards working undercover has sent me the location of Charlotte and Elliot. We will be leaving in an hour." I look at my watch which reads 1:30 in the morning, but I couldn't care less. An hour later we all pile into three cars including three more full of guards and drive to the location Theo sent me. 

After five days of not knowing where our sister is we finally found the right place. This will be six days since she was taken, but at least we found her. I just wish it was faster. I need to thank Theo. Who knew Elena's brother the family who caused our problems would fix it? talk about full circle. The drive took us longer than anticipated. 

We park outside the warehouse and start to shoot any guard protecting it. Soon the outside is clear so we enter the building and continue to shoot anyone who gets in our way. Gabriel, Vinny, Elijah, and I and a few guards are inside the rest are outside keeping watch and waiting for us to return with Charlotte and Elliot. Gabriel starts to go ahead of us as we shoot a group of Russians coming towards us. I know he's having a hard time with Elliot gone. He has taken him in like his own son.
