"Marshall, let the others go with him we need you here ASAP. Rocky can't walk." Everest said in a calm yet firm voice.

"He's on his way." The girls helped Rocky to a nearby bench and sat on either side of him.

"Rocky what happened?" Skye asked once he had calmed down a little.

"M-me and Zuma were headed to the shop and ran into a group of guys from school. They saw we were holding hands and started yelling at us. W-when th-they saw we were ignoring them they chased us so we ran. They beat us up and I was out cold after our call. I-I don't know where Zuma is or what they d-did."

He cried into his sister's shoulder as Marshall rounded the corner out of breath.

"Marshall." Rocky's head snapped towards the black haired boy. "Is he ok?"

"Rocky please calm down."

"Is he ok?" He asked again firmly.

"He's gone to the hospital now. He's in good hands, my mum's working tonight. Can you put any weight on your leg?" Marshall remained calm.

"I, I don't think so." Rocky tried to stand but fell as soon as his foot hit the floor. Skye and Everest caught him and helped him sit down.

"I think it's probably broken. Skye can you call your dad to get us to the hospital, saves waiting for another ambulance."

"Sure." Skye did as she was asked but Rocky wouldn't stop asking about Zuma's condition.

"He was out cold when we found him. I didn't get a good look at his injuries because there were no street lights on, They're all broken. He'll be alright Rocky."

Chase and Rubble were anxiously waiting as a nurse called Zuma's parents and doctors tried to treat him.

Despite being worried, Rubble had fallen asleep in the waiting room, leaving Chase staring at the wall. Marshall and the girls came in, supporting a limping Rocky who had to wait for an X-ray.

They all sat with the brunette and remained silent. Rocky wanted to cry yet again. He felt like he should've protected his boyfriend better despite the others repeatedly telling him that it wasn't his fault.

A black haired woman walked into the waiting room and upon seeing Marshall smiled slightly. She approached the group.

"Hello you guys." She smiled.

"Hi Mum." Marshall looked up.

"Hi Fiona." The others said.

"Rocky I'm here to take you to X-ray." She helped the boy up and led him to the corridor. As soon as he was gone, Chase spoke up.

"I don't know what to tell him." He ran a hand through his hair. "Zuma was...it was just... horrific."

"How bad was he?" Everest asked quietly, holding Marshall's hand.
"I can't even describe it, it was so bad. Just thinking about it makes me want to vomit." Skye held her boyfriend's hand, her ring catching the light.

"He'll be ok." She sighed.

"I just can't believe that they would do that." Marshall looked down, holding his arms around Everest.

"Just because they're in love."

"I will never understand some people."

"Me either Skye." Everest said sadly.

"I'm gonna kill them." Skye Said, glaring at the floor.

"But Skye then they'll likely start on you." Chase reasoned.

"I don't care. Chase, Rocky's my brother and Zuma's his boyfriend. We're all best friends and we need to defend each other as well as ourselves. Those people have made our lives hell. They've driven Everest to having the lowest self esteem I know, Chase you've cut yourself because of them and don't even deny it because I've seen the scars. Rubble is constantly trying to play dumb in want of being accepted by a wider group of people. Marshall how many times have they mocked you for your achievements at dance, you own that stage and you know it! Rocky and Zuma, they've beaten up for being in love. They've driven me, nearly to death, twice. I've hade enough. It's time we fight back."

They all looked at her, knowing she was right.

"Okay. Let's do it." Everest smiled.

"I'm in."

"Me too."
