The group were taking their dogs out for a walk together. Well, Marshall and Everest were still at theirs while Skye offered to take their two dogs with them.

"Zelda! Get back here!" Zuma yelled from the ground. The chocolate lab trotted over happily and dropped her ball in front of his nose, wagging her tail.

"She is strong." Rubble sniggered, letting Rascal his young bulldog off the lead.

"It didn't help that she tangled your legs in the lead." Sweetie laughed, throwing a frisbee for her westie, Sora.

"Star! Don't bite Cheif's tail!" Skye scolded the cockapoo who was bounding after the shepherd's tail. Chase laughed, He never guessed that his dog would be scared of but love his girlfriend's who was a third of his size. Kind of like him and Skye really.

"Rivet!" Rocky cried. The group looked over to see that the grey mixed breed had been for a dip in the pond which was perfectly clean but he had decided to shake all over Rocky, who I will remind you, is scared of water. The rest of the group fell about laughing before sitting down on the grass under the sycamore tree and soaking up the afternoon sun.

"This is the life." Skye sighed, closing her eyes.

"It sure is." Tracker smiled, his arm around Sweetie and his chihuahua, Theo, on his lap. Suddenly, Chase's phone rang. It was Marshall.

"Marsh. What's up? Woah woah woah. Slow down." There was a pause. "Shit a brick! We're on our way! What do you mean it's fine? Ok well, we'll wait at Skye's for news. Good luck mate."

"What was that?" Rocky asked.

"Ev's in labour."

The seven friends were sat anxiously in the den, waiting for Marshall to call. Tracker was often jumping up, going to and from the kitchen area to make everyone drinks. Rocky tried turning the TV on but no one could focus on it. Their eyes were fixated on Chase's mobile that lay on the coffee table. Skye's foot tapped impatiently on the floor as she stroked Star, ridding the room of silence. Zuma looked across at her.

"Skye, calm down."

"I am calm!" She snapped, gaining a confused expression from everyone. "Sorry. It's just stress and excitement getting to me." She explained.

"How long have we been waiting here?" Rubble asked.

"I'd say...six hours." Tracker checked his watch.

"And I don't think we'll be leaving anytime soon." Sweetie kicked off her trainers and cuddled up to Tracker on the sofa.
