Why was I blessed with such kind people on here you guys are literally so sweet it legit warms my heart to read your comments I wish I could be friends with all of you 🥺

Leafy's POV
I woke up to my alarm going off, and opened my eyes.
I tried to get up, but something held me down.
I put my hands around what was holding me, and it struck me.
"Ok...either I'm dreaming...or this is Firey." I thought to myself.
I placed my hands on his face, and it was..really warm.
"Oh yea...that's him alright."
I tried to break free from him, when he squeezed me tight.
He was still snoring, so..what do I do?
It was time to get up, and everyone set an alarm. They'll be up any second and will wonder where me and Firey are.
I took a deep breath, and whispered into Firey's ear.
"F-Firey. It's time to wake up."
He mumbled, and I felt his grip loosen.
"Five more minutes..."
"Can you at least let me go?"
He went quiet for a moment.
"No..you're soft."
I got frustrated, and pulled myself out forcefully.
He stirred awake, and looked at me as I turned my room light on.
"Leafy? What're you doing here?"
"Waking you up dummy. You wouldn't let go of me."
"O-oh!! Sorry!" His face flushed pink, and he got himself up.
"Leafy? Firey? Where are you guys?" Pin called out.
I quickly grabbed some clothes from my closet, and opened my door.
"I was just going to the shower! Firey is still asleep. I'm trying to get him up." I yelled back.
I left my room, and made my way to the shower.

Firey's POV
I watched as leafy went to the shower, and I got out of her bed.
I looked around her room, and smiled.
It was such a bright room, with string lights by her bed.
No posters, or pictures, but overall it was a nice room.
I felt a sense of comfort.
The door opened, and Coiny walked in.
"So. You 2 slept together?" He grinned.
"No we didn't. I couldn't sleep, so she let me sleep up here."
"Whatever you say Firey. Come on, Pin's making breakfast, then we'll get ready."

We all ate breakfast, and we all showered quickly. Coiny had his car outside, and as we were loading up our things in his car, I noticed leafy walked away to her bathroom again.
I quietly followed and seen her with a bottle of pills.
"What're those for?" I asked.
She jumped, startled, and looked at me.
"Gah!! Don't scare me like that Firey! Also, this is just Motion Sickness medication."
I looked at the bottle, and confirmed she was right.
"Oh..you get motion sick?"
"Sometimes. I really just bring it just in case."
She close her medicine cabinet, and we walked back downstairs, where Needle sat, rushing us.
"Come on you guys! We don't want to miss the bus!" She grabbed Leafy and I's arms, and dragged us out.

I looked out the bus window, we made it just in time. Leafy sat closer to the window, and stared out at the stars.
"Isn't the night sky so beautiful?" She whispered, so she wouldn't wake the other students on the bus.
"It is." I leaned closer to her, and she turned to me.
"You know, I'm really glad I can spend this time with you."
"I'm glad too. I love being around you Leafy."
I ran my hand through her hair again, and sighed.
This was my chance. I had to do it.
I put my hand on her face, and pulled her in.
But of course, we were interrupted.
Leafy's phone chimed, and she looked at it.
(I wonder how many people I got angry lmao)
She giggled, and put her phone down.
"Sorry about that Firey. I just got a message."
"It..it's cool. Don't worry about it."
She turned her attention to the sky again, and I closed my eyes.
How much longer am I going to have to wait until I can kiss her? Until I can call her mine?
I leaned myself on her, and took a deep breath.
"How much longer until we get there?" I asked, my breathing slowing.
"Well it's 3:30am...we'll arrive around 7am. Are you going back to sleep?"
"Mhmm."
"Firey?"
"Yea?"
"Can I..can I have a hug?"
I opened my eyes, and looked at her.
"Course you can. Come here."
I held her against me, and I slowly fell back asleep.

Leafy's POV
In my defense, it was cold. And people had their windows open.
Firey was one of the warmest people I've ever met, and I felt safe when he held me.
He snored quietly, and I pulled out my earbuds and phone.
I started playing music, and snuggled closer to him.
Closing my eyes, I felt myself drifting off, and I did. I dreamt of getting everything I've ever wanted. Which, wasn't a whole lot. The only thing I wanted, was for Firey to like me back.

I awoke to Firey nudging me, and I looked up at him.
"H...huh? What's wrong Firey?"
"Leafy...it's almost Sunrise..I wanted you to see it with me."
I stretched my legs out, and rubbed my eyes.
I looked out the window, and Firey and I watched as the sun began to rise.
"Now that is what I'm into." Firey smiled brightly.
I turned to him. "You like the sun more than the moon?"
"I do. The sun to me represents the new day officially starting. And with a new day..gives us more opportunities to do good in life. At least that's how I see it."
I smiled. "That's actually...a really sweet way to think about it.
He placed his arm around me, and we continued to talk.

With us now here, we were allowed to get off the bus and go get breakfast.
Firey, Coiny, Pin and I made our way to the nearest diner, and were sat down right away.
"So how was the ride guys?" I asked Pin and Coiny.
"It was nice. We just slept. You guys?" Coiny replied.
Firey messed with his hair. "We talked for a bit, and slept after. Than we woke up to watch the sunrise together."
"We missed the sunrise. Coiny said he'd remind me but he's a deep sleeper." Pin laughed.
As we ate our food, I noticed Firey smiling a lot.
"What's on your mind Firey?" I asked.
"Hm? What do you mean?"
"You're smiling so much. What's got you in such a good mood?"
He thought for a second, and beamed.
"Well..it's just that I've never actually been out with friends anywhere. I wasn't ever allowed to be around anyone if Puffball wasn't with me. And when she was with me with friends, they were only her friends. So..I'm just happy I can be here with you guys today."
"We love having you around Firey! And I'm glad you got away from Puffball. You've always deserved better." I said, smiling back.
He looked at me, and I noticed his eyes were watering up.
"O-oh no! Did I say something wrong? Did I-"
I was cut off by Firey embracing me, and I heard him sniffle.
"Thank you Leafy. You don't know how much that means to me."
I hugged him back, and chuckled.
"I'm glad it makes you feel good. You deserve the best."

Bro Fireafy has become my biggest comfort ship right now I just-
Also before people ask, I loved Tpot 1, it's at such an amazing start.
And bfb 28 had be sobbing over the ending, and had me squealing like an idiot over Firey and Leafy talking.
Edit: I'm just gonna say, I ended up continuing this so much because I was reminded of one Fireafy fic I read the longest time ago that was never updated, and it was really good. It's been like 2/3 years now and no update, I didn't wanna do that and people come and read this to be disappointed there's no continuation.
Also I really wanna get better at writing so.
