i'm standing in my shower mirror, my hair and body wrapped up in matching pink towels, singing along to perfect day while pretending my hello kitty impulse is a microphone.
"people say, they say that it's just a phase, they tell me to act my age" i sing passionately, letting my damp hair fall out of my towel and onto my shoulders, "well i ammmmm!".
"on this perfect day, nothings standing in my way!" i sing as i brush my hair and straighten it. i have honestly never felt more full of energy. i'm about to go on my first date and i need to look absolutely perfect. i add pink clips into my hair for a finishing touch.
i twirl out of the bathroom like a ballerina and into my walk in closet where i get dressed into my outfit:

i look in the mirror, i actually don't look like trash for once. this feels nice. i suddenly get butterflies thinking about how cute matt is gonna look, woah those little fucks are back.
i sit on my bed to tie up my new trendy shoes straight from their box, but there's something about them that doesn't feel right. that doesn't feel like me.
i grab a pen from my side draw, cross my legs over and draw three little tiny stars on each shoe. now these shoes feel like me.
and finally, i sprayed myself head to toe in our moment by one direction.
