Kimberley sighs later that afternoon, taking a seat in an empty booth in her bakery. The place was still very much busy, but she just needed a breather from the endless chaos.
She beckons over her employee, instantly getting a response.
"You okay?" Catherin asks.
"Yeah. Just get me a beer."
Catherin nods her head and quickly moves her feet.
Kimberley relaxes back in her seat, scrolling mindlessly through her iPhone. She shoots a text to her wife, simply checking up on her and Madison.
Hi baby, you two having a good time?
She doesn't get a response instantly, deciding to put her phone down just as the cold beer was set down in front of her.
"Do you need anything else?"
"No that's it for now."
The employee nods her head, and leaves her boss in peace.
