Author's POV
"It was nice knowin yas!" Madison howls in laughter in the backseat as they drive her home that late night, she couldn't stop laughing, knowing her arse was about to be kicked.
Brian and Travis share a look. "She's terrible when she's drunk." Brian whispers, laughing at the mess in the backseat.
"Shh." Madison hushes, noticing they had stopped in front of her gated home. "They'll h-hear us!" She says, not knowing she was actually screaming.
"Alright, bud. I'll help you out—"
"No – No!" She stumbles out of the Jeep, "I-I I got it fr-from here." She sways.
Brian tuts, ready to climb out but Madison objects once more. "I said no. M'fine." She stands up straight, trying to sober herself up.
Travis objects, as does Madison. "My p-parents will kill yous."
The boys sigh, giving in.
"You'll be alright to walk on your own?" Travis asks, concerned.
"Y-Yeah I'm safe." She giggles, staggering towards the towering gates, successfully. "Bye!" She waves them off, stumbling through the side gate door, singing as she walks, stumbles and trips a few times to the mansion ahead. "It's a beeeautiful lifeeeeeee." She sings loudly, her voice echoing in the night. "How do youuuu think I feeeeel when you call my name!!" She breaks out into an awkward dance shuffle, her Mam's song seemed to be playing on her mind. "Aye Aye." She cheers herself on, soon laughing.
